Atsuko Chiba and her alter ego, Paprika, are the main protagonists in the film Paprika. She works alongside Tokita Kosaku.
Description[]
As the Doctor[]
Atsuko is an attractive, pale-skinned young woman with black hair that is tied into a bun with bangs swept to the left side and dark blue eyes. She often wears suits, a pencil skirt, black pantyhose and high heels.
Alter Ego: Paprika[]
She is a beautiful teen-like woman who has jaw-length auburn hair worn into a messy bob-cut with bangs, brown doe-eyes and has a skin tan. She appears to love Western/American-culture and is always seen wearing a short-sleeve red blouse with a white belt, blue jeans and red & white Chuck Taylor-converse.

As the Doctor[]
Atsuko is a very serious person. It is revealed by Paprika that she believes that she can control others, and others should listen to her. She becomes more friendly after admitting her feelings for Tokita Kōsaku.
Alter Ego: Paprika[]
As Paprika, her personality is almost the opposite of her personality as a doctor. Paprika is a more care-free, cheerful and friendly woman.
